Jackie is a Director and Co-Founder of Quantas Financial Group. She is the Director of Coffee Traders Limited, her family-owned manufacturing, export and retail business that is the largest coffee/roaster in the English-speaking Caribbean. Prior to joining Coffee Traders, she garnered over 26 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, 20 of which were spent with Scotia Group Jamaica Limited.
Throughout her career, Jackie has dexterously led different divisions including Treasury, Finance, Administration, Insurance, Risk Management and Compliance. Her final role at Scotiabank was as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, she guided the strategic direction and profitable growth of the operations in Jamaica, with oversight of four other countries in the Caribbean from 2013 to 2017. Mrs. Sharp’s proven performance as an effective catalyst for change, coupled with her structured approach successfully realized prioritized results. Mrs. Sharp has served on the Boards of Scotia Group Jamaica, its subsidiaries and the Pension Fund for several years and has amassed significant experience in corporate governance and strategy.
